The girls got to enjoy their first fair this year with good friend Nicole. Our good friends Justin and Kristine came to Douglas with their girls Nicole and Reagan. They really don't have many rides for the little ones but the two they went on they didn't want to get off. So I think they had fun.

Update On Little Miss Madison
About a month ago Greg and I noticed that when Madison is watching anything far away her right eye wonders off. So I made an apt. with a eye specialist and took her in. He tells me that her vision in the right eye is -10.8(really, really bad) and her vision in the left is perfect. So when she is looking at things far away she will just focus with her left which in turn makes the right eye wonder off. But he wanted me to bring her back in just to make sure he was getting the right numbers or whatever that thing does. So again I take her in on Tuesday for the second time and he gets the same reading. He doesn't know what to think, he said in all the years he has seen patients he has never seen it this bad. And never in a child under the age 10. So he said we will have to have her fitted for a contact. Reason being glasses would still make her see things different and really wouldn't correct the problem. A contact on the other hand could give her the correct vision and she would see things the way we all do. Now I was like how the hell am I going to get a contact in a 18month old and her be ok with that. Well we're just going to have to if we want her to be able to see. I know that there could be worse things wrong with her but I feel so bad for her. She will have to wear a contact for the rest of her life or until we can get her lasic surgery. So in a couple weeks we are going to attempt a contact fitting. Should be tons of fun!!! NOT! But it needs to be done and I just pray that this will work. So until then we will keep everyone updated.

Trouble Times Two!!!
Ok so anyone who knows my kids, knows that they are into everything. Well today we had one of those days! I stepped outside to get a pop out of the garage and wasn't gone but a couple of minutes. When I came back inside this is what I found. The girls pulled the chairs out, climbed on top of the table and pulled all the tissue out of the box. This isn't the first time this has happened, oh no its an everyday thing lately. They get in trouble, put in time out, and nothing works. Anyone??? They climb on everything, the computer desk, the window seals, and anything that you would think was baby proofed.
Glenrock Parade
So the pictures are a little backwards, but for some reason the uploads weren't working. So on Saturday we had the Glenrock parade, which the girls loved!
Their Grandpa Fink had his fire truck in the parade and the girls got to go for a little ride. Madison had a fit when it was time to get out. Grandpa was so happy they liked it. I think it made his day.
Water Babies!

Random pictures from July
Sunday we decided to go up to Labonte Canyon and have a family day. The girls got wet of course cause they can't stand to stay out of water. We call them our water babies. Greg wanted to let them catch a few fish. So Madison caught her first fish, with daddy's help of course. Then we tried to get another one on for Allison but the fish were a little small and hard to catch. But we had a good day. It was beautiful up there. Maybe next year will be easier sense the girls will be a little older and easier to take.
The Douglas Storm
We had a huge storm come through Douglas and it did some damage to people homes. We almost thought our basement might get some water but we didn't, thankfully. This is Christine's Daycare down the street from us after the rain.
This is my garden
Trying to get caught up on pictures
So on 4th of July I had to take Allison to the ER for Tonsillitis. So had been running a temp all day and when I was done with my wedding we took her home and tried to get her to feel better, not knowing what was wrong at the time. So then a week later Madison started the same thing. So after taking her to the doctor she also had it. I don't recommend having two sick kids in two weeks. You don't get much sleep and sick babies are no fun to be around.
This is Madison sleeping at lunch before we got to the doctor.

Protecting myself and the photos I take
Copyrights!
Just an FYI for my clients and potential clients.
The photos I take at your session are the property of Sweetpeas Photography. That means that they can in no way be reproduced. This doesn't only mean scanning and sending them somewhere else to be printed, it also means to use them on the web.
Of course, if you buy a CD with all rights, this does, in fact give you the right to make prints and use them on the web (although if you use them on the web, a little shout out would be nice ;) )
But if you don't purchase the rights then you aren't allowed, under copyright laws to reproduce them in any way.
Now, I certainly don't mind, with my permission, if you use them on the web, as in social networking or your blog, just, again, give a little shout out as to who took them and whose work it is. It would be EXCELLENT advertising.
But, this also means that from now on, everything that I do will have my logo on the bottom. The photos you buy and the photos that you get on a CD when you purchase it. It won't be large like when I post them on my blog, it will be down in the corner, but this is only to protect me and I hope that you all understand. I appreciate my clients so much.
Identity theft (in the form of photos) online is a big thing. If you aren't aware of it, teens and adults from different countries, or even in the US try to download and save your/my photos all the time off of the web and use them as their own on sites like My Space, Facebook, and other networking sites. Many photographer friends of mine have had photos of their children and clients stolen off of Flickr and it is devastating. I had one stolen, that I know of. It SUCKS.
So this is only to protect me, to protect you as clients, it would be horrible for you to find your photos from your session on a site and someone else claiming them as their own. Especially if it is a photo of your child. These people were stealing them and then claiming that the children in the photo was theirs. Many photos of my girls were stolen and used. This is the reason that all of us photographers now use our watermark on everything that we post.
I hope that all of my wonderful clients understand this. If you want to scan them and use them on your myspace, twitter, facebook, that is fine, just get my permission first and then, like I said, give me a little advertisement. ;) Also, I hope that the small watermark that will be on all photos at the bottom won't bother anyone. It is only to protect me and my work.
Thank you for you understanding and I hope this will help everyone in the future. Sincerely Lindsey with Sweetpeas Photography

Casper Flood July 3rd 2009
Well this last weekend was a busy one for our family. Friday morning I had pictures to do at Natural Bridge, then off to Casper for more pictures with good friends. We were gonna go to the mountain but the weather wasn't allowing that. So Casper had alot of rain, and here are pictures of the flood. Yes they had a flood.
